Madenokoji Sukefusa (万里小路輔房)

Sukefusa MADENOKOJI (1542-September 1, 1573) was a court noble in the Azuchi-Momoyama Period.

He was the twelfth family head of the Madenokoji family which was Tosho-ke (the hereditary lineage of court nobles occupying relatively high ranks), and the main branch of Kanroji of the Takafuji group of the Northern House of the Fujiwara clan, an important noble family.

Career
He was a child of Naidaijin (minister) Korefusa MADENOKOJI. His mother was the daughter of Ietoshi HATAKEYAMA (the Nishiyachi Hatakeyama family), Governor of Osumi Province. His adopted children included Gon Dainagon (Provisional chief councilor of state) Atsufusa MADENOKOJI (his biological father was Gon Dainagon Haruhide KAJUJI).

On July 6, 1563, he was appointed Sangi (councilor).

The most senior ranks and positions he achieved were Shosanmi (Senior Third Rank) and Gon Chunagon (Provisional vice-councilor of stater).
